Monsoon Women Westbourne Grove

Monsoon, a familiar part of the British high street, has invested in its brand and what it means to its customers; this strategy has been instrumental to the redesign of its store environments. Monsoon invited Project Orange to play a part in every strand of its brand exposure around the stores, from marketing and advertising to future merchandising trends.

The original and listed shop front is a local landmark and was fully refurbished giving a strong, graphic presence to the street while re-enforcing the Monsoon brand as something quirky and individual. The new lifestyle store in Westbourne Grove has allowed us to develop our initial concept within this unique listed building. In many ways it looks back to Monsoon's roots as a boutique brand and there are many quirky, personal, touches that make this store feel both special and individual. On the walls textured silky wallpaper is reflected in the mirror-tiled columns; the reclaimed French oak timber floor provides a backdrop for the colourful free standing fixtures and fittings. Here also the merchandise is mixed up and presented in baskets, on hangers, in boxes and on the wall.
