Project Orange was shortlisted in an invited competition to re-design the interior for three key spaces within the London Library at St James Square, London. These comprised the Issue Hall, 6th Floor Reading Room and a multi-functional workshop and recreation room.

Our proposal focused on micro-place making, creating spaces for both solitary and social activity. The scheme developed a new contemporary and functional language which was complementary to the traditional architectural features and rich history of the existing Library.
