Headquarters Building Oxford

This project comprises part new build behind a retained façade and part extensive refurbishment of a series of adjacent buildings in central Oxford to create a high quality bespoke headquarters for an end-user financial services company. Taking the Oxbridge college as an inspiration, the brief called for the provision of lecture theatre, seminar rooms, break-out spaces, refectory and library in addition to open trading floors.

A new atrium area was created behind the retained façade to provide strong visual and aural connections between the newly inserted floors. A controlled palette of fumed oak, stainless steel and terrazzo define and unify the interior spaces. Project Orange acted as architect, space planner and interior designer. The project completed in 2015.
