Flammekueche, which roughly translates to ‘Flame Cake’ is a French specialty from the Alsace region consisting of thinly rolled dough, spread with crème fresh and toppings, cooked in an hot oven at high speed. Amélie aims to bring Flammekueche to the wider market, evoking the charm of the classic French bistro whilst taking cues from the architecture of the Alsace region and its half-timber buildings. A strong graphical style and choice of bright yellow coloring helps it stand proud of the competition and maintain a crisp yet homely ambiance with an open kitchen at the heart of the design.
