Irina Dumitrescu, Architect
Irina joined Project Orange in 2019 to take charge of delivering 10, Windmill Road, a 86 rooms apartment hotel scheme in Chiswick, currently on site.
Irina possesses a comprehensive set of architectural skills, having worked on all project stages, from inception to completion, on a diverse variety of building typologies. During the last 7 years she has been based in London, gaining valuable technical experience working on multiple buildings across the city - projects such as the Atrium Building, a 153 flats residential building in Canning Town; Axtell House, an office building on Beak Street; 120 Moorgate, an office building in Moorgate; 5 Cannon Lane, a private residence in Hampstead and The Araki restaurant on New Burlington Street among others.
While working with Darling Associates, she successfully delivered the planning application for Castle Club, a high-end dementia care home project in the London Borough of Newham.
Irina studied in Romania at the University of Architecture and Landscape Ion Mincu (First Class Honours), Italy at the University of Architecture Palermo (Erasmus Scholarship) and in The UK, qualifying at The Bartlett, UCL in 2017.
She is an excellent team player and has a competitive personality, enjoying playing volleyball and tennis. In her spare time, she loves to draw and paint, with one of the highlights of her career being seeing her works exhibited at the RA Summer Show, 2019.
