Charles Street

The alterations to this Grade II listed duplex flat in Mayfair were the second phase of works carried out by Project Orange. The lower two floors of a converted Georgian townhouse have been extensively refurbished and connected through to the rear mews house, (Hays Mews –Phase 1 completed in 2005), to consolidate the two properties as one. The new section of the house adds a further two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and a formal Reception and Dining Room to the property with a new staircase link between the floors.

The palette of materials is kept simple and elegant with dark smoked oak floors and wall panelling, polished statuary marble bathrooms and high gloss lacquered joinery. The dark panelled lobby and staircase create a dramatic descent to the lower ground floor whilst contrasting  with the airy light bedrooms and white marble bathrooms.
