We love designing great places to eat and drink. We also recognise that the perfect restaurant is a complex balance between design, service and product. Our early projects for Raoul's, Delhi Deli and Basilico are going from strength to strength. We also transformed the first floor of Smiths restaurant for Master-Chef John Torode.
More recently we completed I-talia in Delhi (described by Time Out as "feeling like the inside of a Cartier Watch") and the i-bar in Bangalore ("rich in imagination and cultural reference…" FX Magazine). The restaurant in the Fizwilliam Hotel Belfast has been a great success and short-listed for the Sleeper Restaurant Award in 2009.
Most recently, however, the dining room at the Whitechapel Art Gallery has been extremely well received by the BD judges noting: "It was one of those small projects that was practically perfect. You feel the designers have intuited each nuance in the character of the venerable Whitechapel Gallery and understood its continuing relevance and buzz…" AA Gill, writing in the Sunday Times, also awarded it four stars saying it is: "small and neat and nicely turned out…"
