Joe Paget, Architect

Joe Paget

Joe is an ARB registered architect who qualified three years ago after studying in Sheffield. Having benefitted from experience across conservation, residential, public realm and commercial sectors in practices of varying sizes, he carries a versatile skill set and can work happily at all RIBA work stages.

In his past employment he has worked on delivering domestic projects for public and private clients. Other projects included masterplanning of student residential developments, insertion of gym and leisure facilities into historic buildings in an urban context and a contemporary addition to three buildings to create a one-off family home.

Joining Project Orange in 2021, Joe is running the transformation of the derelict Moorings Social Club in Thamesmead into a C21st community hub for Peabody. The project was developed using co-design principles and engaged with multiple stakeholders to ensure everybody’s voice was heard. The project is due to complete at the end of the year.

He reflects: “I enjoy the interpersonal aspects of architecture and communicate well with clients, consultants, statutory bodies and contractors. I work instinctively to principles of sustainable design and pay the utmost attention to detail. My work has been award winning at university and instrumental to the success of competition entries in practice.”
