Jamie Hughes, Architect
Jamie Hughes BSc (Hons), MA (RCA)
Jamie completed his studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture and the Royal College of Art. His final design project began as a written thesis exploring the connections between music and architecture, developing into a series of spatial score drawings notating an acoustic promenade through the city.
He previously worked on the RIBA National Award-winning Lauriston Primary School, a complex phased new-build scheme, with Meadowcroft Griffin Architects from planning stages through to completion onsite and has also gained experience working on smaller private house projects. He is currently working on a mixed-use residential scheme in Barnes at Project Orange.
Outside of architecture one of Jamie’s passions is music; playing the violin in a chamber orchestra and string quartet and electric bass in a band.
