Alex Joined Project Orange in 2018 and is currently working on the internal design package for Triangle, a multi-unit residential scheme over two buildings which is part of the Kings Cross redevelopment area. He is also working on a private home extension in Islington, as well as being part of the design team for the Moorings social club redevelopment in Thamesmead.
Alex is a qualified Architect, having studied at Cardiff University’s Welsh School of Architecture and completing his professional qualification with Merit at UCL’s Bartlett. His design thesis researched the way abandoned and unused spaces within a dense city scape can be infilled or adapted to be given a renewed function and presence to the townscape.
Before joining Project Orange, he worked in Berlin with Landscape Architects Topotek1, Cyprus and most recently in London with OSEL Architecture. His design experience includes the delivery of high-end residential developments of varying scale, in areas of London. He also gained experience in developing and presenting smaller schemes to local authorities within areas of sensitive local context.
Outside of the office Alex is a keen photographer and guitarist.
