Office jolly to Amsterdam. July 2008
We have visited Amsterdam recently, city of remarkable architecture. We have even been photographed for the Lloyd Hotel website!

Shop: New Retail Space for London. 3 May – 23 June 2007 exhibition at New London Architecture. www.newlondonarchitecture.org
As London's population grows we will need even more shops to meet consumer demand. Estimates predict that spending levels in the capital will exceed retail capacity nearly two-fold by 2016. But what sort of shops do Londoners want? Can boutique sit side by side with bargain? Is high street threatened by out-of-town? And are the planners getting the balance right? These are some of the questions that are being raised at SHOP. Project Orange are showcasing their Monsoon Men boutique store in Covent Garden.

Habitat Shop Window. Architecture week 2006, Regents Street, London.
Project Orange were invited by the RIBA to curate a shop window in Habitat as part of Architecture Weeks public awareness campaign in conjunction with the V&A Modernism exhibition. We had a morning to set it up and were given the run of the store to collect as many props as we needed. Our concept was to create our own 'Orange Picnic' scene subverted by a number of our own fragments taken from our office: a series of small models, a selection of special samples, books from our library and our own work photographed and framed.

POP 21: Project Orange Lecture. Cardiff University 2007.
This lecture was designed to broaden the awareness of students of architecture about the profession. Traditionally education tends to focus on design within the studio environment while most legal and administrative learning is left to the students 7th year and the Part 3 qualification. Here we show 21 distinctly different procedures and projects undertaken often concurrently in our office. This ranges from designing a school building to designing a piece of furniture; writing a press release to writing a contract; giving a client presentation to giving a lecture.
